Serpentine Jasper Congolmerate
Brown Jasper and Serpentine Conglomerate. NIce brown jasper, with a few areas of agatization, fused around Serpentine. Perfect fusion seen on all sides with no fracture lines visible. This stone has been window cut to ensure specimen quality carries through sample. Overall size approximately 5" long x 4" wide x 2" high. This specimen weighs 1 pound 12.0 ounces.
Shelf ready, awesome conglomerate stone. Pale green and brown looks similar to "snakeskin". Shown dry and in natural daylight. Great size for collectors, artists, or jewelery makers. Would make stunning jewery, or face polished display. Guaranteed to be a natural specimen, mined in the Mojave Desert Area of Southern California.
Please note, Jaspers and Serpetines are very dense, hard rocks which maybe difficult to work for non-experienced lapidary artists. Use of proper lapidary (wet saw, wet sanders, diamond polishers, etc) maybe required. Color may vary slightly from photos due to lighting and monitor settings.
